AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (AP) — The Netherlands qualified for the Nations League finals as Virgil van Dijk's header secured a 1-0 victory over Belgium at the Johan Cruyff Arena on Sunday. The Liverpool defender rose highest to meet Cody Gakpo's cross in the 73rd minute, sending a powerful header into the back of the net. The victory sees the Netherlands finish top of Group A4, with 16 points from six games. Belgium finished second with 10 points. The Netherlands will now face Croatia, Italy and Spain in the Nations League finals, which will be held in June 2023.
