History
The Switzerland national football team is the national football team of Switzerland and is controlled by the Swiss Football Association. The team represents Switzerland in international football competitions such as the FIFA World Cup and the UEFA European Championship.
World Cup History
Switzerland has participated in the FIFA World Cup 11 times, with their best result being the quarter-finals in 1934, 1938, and 1954. In the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Switzerland was eliminated in the Round of 16 by Sweden.
